One of the most stressful parts of travel is packing. How do you know if you have enough? What if you forget something? Or, the most common issue, what if you take too much?
Many of us have fallen into the trap of packing too much for a vacation. When it comes to plus-size packing, we often struggle a bit more to pack light. Not only is there generally more material involved in plus-size clothing, but we might feel as though we need extra options like cover-ups, which can lead to us paying for extra luggage.
Never fear, however, as here are seven tips to help you pack lighter!

I’ve met some incredible women from all over the world with the same passion for adventure and desire for body acceptance as I have, which is why I started Travel with Curves in the first place. The plus-size travel community is growing at a breakneck pace, and I couldn’t be happier to be along for the ride!

When you’re overweight, travel overseas can seem like a distant dream. It’s something you plan on doing for a long time. You talk about it with friends and family and pour hours and hours into finding the ideal location. But I, like so many people who have struggled with their weight most of their lives, have always thought about travel as just another entry in the long list of activities I plan on doing once I lose enough weight.
This type of thinking, which has stemmed from years of fear and anxiety, is exactly what prevented me from turning that dream into a reality. The following three fears were the ones holding me back the most, and only after realizing what they were was I able to work on changing the way I think and actually do the things I’ve always wanted to do.
